RAJVEER'S POV
Life is unpredictable.
No matter how carefully you plan it, fate always finds a way to surprise you.
Sometimes it gives you happiness.
Sometimes it gives you pain.
And sometimes...
It gives you a person you never knew your heart was waiting for.
Leaning against the balcony railing of the Rudravaansh Palace, I silently watched the morning sun paint the sky in shades of gold.
A cool breeze brushed against my face.
Yet my attention wasn't on the sunrise.
It was on the woman standing a few feet away from me.
My wife.
The woman who unknowingly ruled my thoughts.
The woman who never realized the effect she had on me.
ANUSHREE RAJVEER SINGH RUDRAVAANSH.

Dressed in a simple suit, she was arranging flowers in a silver vase.
Completely unaware that her husband had been staring at her for the last ten minutes.
A small smile appeared on my lips.
And just like always...
My mind drifted back to the day everything began.

FLASHBACK

AMER FORT, JAIPUR
The magnificent Amer Fort stood proudly against the evening sky.
Every stone carried centuries of history.
Every wall whispered stories of warriors, kings, sacrifices, and love.
I had come there for a business meeting.
One of my important clients, Mr. Rajput, had insisted on meeting inside the fort.
Normally I would have refused.
But business required compromises.
As I climbed the ancient steps, a young man approached me.
"Khama Ghani, Rajasa. Myself Rana, assistant of Mr. Rajput."
I shook his hand politely.
"Nice to meet you. Now take me to Mr. Rajput. I'm already late."
He immediately nodded.
"This way, Rajasa."
As we walked through the fort, I couldn't help admiring its beauty.
The magnificent courtyards.
The royal architecture.
The breathtaking Sheesh Mahal.
Everything reflected the grandeur of Rajasthan.
Soon the meeting began.
For nearly an hour, I listened to presentations, proposals, and numbers.
And then...
I heard it.
Chhan... Chhan... Chhan...
The sound of anklets.
Soft.
Rhythmic.
Mesmerizing.
For some reason, the sound pulled at something inside me.
I tried ignoring it.
Failed.
The sound came again.
Chhan... Chhan... Chhan...
Without realizing it, I found myself standing.
Mr. Rajput was still talking.
I wasn't listening anymore.
The anklets had completely stolen my attention.
Almost as if they were calling me.
I followed the sound through the corridors of Amer Fort.
Step by step.
Until I reached an open courtyard.
And there...
I saw her.
For a moment, I forgot how to breathe.

A girl dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire danced gracefully beneath the golden rays of the setting sun.

The sunlight surrounded her like a halo.
Making her appear less human...
And more divine.
Like a goddess descended from heaven.
Her long hair flowed behind her with every movement.

The heavy silver anklets around her feet created the same enchanting melody that had led me there.
I couldn't see her face clearly.
Yet somehow...
I couldn't look away.
I had met countless women in my life.
Princesses.
Models.
Businesswomen.
Socialites.
None of them had ever managed to hold my attention for more than a few minutes.
But this girl?
She had captured it without even trying.
And for the first time in years...
I simply stood there and watched.
Lost.
Completely lost.
Because the word beautiful wasn't enough for her.
She was something beyond beauty.
Something beyond words.
Something my heart couldn't explain.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
After a while, she stopped dancing.
A mobile phone was placed in front of her.
Only then did I realize she had been live-streaming.
She smiled warmly.
"So that's it for today. If anyone has questions, you can ask."
I stood silently in a corner.
Listening.
Watching.
Without wanting to leave.
One viewer asked why she never revealed her face.
She laughed softly.
"Because I don't want to."
The simplicity of her answer made me chuckle.
Another question appeared.
"Are you married?"
"No. Not yet."
And for some strange reason...
Relief washed over me.
A relief I had no right to feel.
Because I didn't even know her.
Then someone asked about her family.
The smile on her face faded.
Instantly.
"My father loves me very much."
She paused.
"But my stepmother doesn't consider me her daughter." She mumbled against herself.
The pain in her voice hit me unexpectedly.
For the first time, I wanted to walk toward her.
To tell her she wasn't alone.
To tell her she deserved better.
But I remained where I was.
Silent.
Listening.
Watching.
Protecting her from a distance.
A few minutes later, she ended the live stream.
"Thank you for supporting the ANSU DANCE family. Love you all."
As she packed her things, another girl approached her.
"Anushree! I told you to tell me before disappearing. Your father is looking for you."
Anushree.
The name echoed inside my mind.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Anushree.
I didn't know why.
But I never wanted to forget it.

FLASHBACK ENDS
"RAJASA!"
Anushree voice pulled me back to the present.
I blinked.
Finding her standing in front of me.
No one dared raise their voice before me.
No one except her.
And strangely...
I liked it.
"What happened?" I asked.
She hesitated.
Playing nervously with the edge of her saree.
"I wanted to ask for permission."
I raised an eyebrow.
"Permission for what?"
"I want to visit the temple."
She looked almost nervous asking me.
As though I would refuse.
As though I would ever deny her anything.
A smile tugged at my lips.
"Okay."
Her eyes widened.
"Really?"
I nodded.
"But take security with you."
The smile that appeared on her face was worth more than every business deal I had ever signed.
"Thank you, Rajasa."
She looked genuinely happy.
And somehow...
That made me happy too.
"Come downstairs soon. Everyone is waiting for breakfast."
With that, she left.
Leaving behind the faint fragrance of jasmine.
And me.
Standing there.
Smiling like a fool.
Because she had no idea.
No idea that she was the same girl from Amer Fort.
The same girl whose anklets had led me toward her.
The same girl who had unknowingly stolen the heart of Rajasthan's king.
The same girl who now carried my surname.
Anushri Rajveer Singh Rudravaansh.
My Anu.
My wife.
My pride.
My destiny.
People say destiny is written by God.
Maybe they're right.
Because out of millions of people in this world...
Fate brought her to me.
And now?
No force in this world could take her away.
Anyone who dared hurt her...
Would answer to me.
Because protecting Anushree wasn't merely my duty as a husband.
It was the promise my heart had made long before she became my wife.

ANUSHREE POV
Dance.
It wasn't just my passion.
It was my escape.
My language.
My home.
In a world where people rarely understood feelings, dance understood every emotion I carried inside me.
Every pain.
Every dream.
Every tear.
Every hope.
My father once told me that my mother had been a classical dancer.
She passed away after giving birth to me.
Many people called me unlucky.
Some even blamed me for her death.
But my father never did.
He loved me enough for both parents.
And because of him, I survived.
Unfortunately, not everyone shared his love.
My stepmother hated me.
No matter what I did, it was never enough.
Slowly, I became tired.
Tired of accusations.
Tired of loneliness.
Tired of constantly proving my innocence.
So I found comfort in dance.
I created my channel—
ANSU DANCE.
A place where nobody judged me.
A place where I could breathe.
A place where I could simply be myself.
And maybe that was why I never revealed my face.
Because the world knew Ansu.
But nobody knew Anushri.
And I preferred it that way.
Looking back now...
Life had changed so much.
Because today, I wasn't Anushree Sharma anymore.
I was—
ANUSHREE RAJVEER SINGH RUDRAVAANSH
Wife of Rajasthan's king.
Four months had passed since our marriage.
Yet sometimes it still felt unreal.
Rajveer and I barely spoke.
We respected each other.
But we weren't truly husband and wife.
At least not yet.
Perhaps he had been forced into this marriage too.
Perhaps destiny had trapped both of us together.
I didn't know.
But one thing was certain.
I loved his family.
Especially Shiva.
He was the heart of the Rudravaansh family.
He could make anyone smile within seconds.
As for the future?
I had no idea what destiny had planned for me.
But for now...
I was willing to wait and find out.
